Is it me, or is it now too easy to kill/ignore the NPC’s.
I know this is not PvE, but it would be better i believe if i could not solo a tower, and as for camps they are so pathetic they are next to impossible to defend.

I also realise that doubling thier stats would probably end solo careers.

Let me know your thoughts and solutions so that captures can be slowed down to a pace where defence not only becomes viable but cost effective.
Taking out Golems will aleviate some more strange problems but the NPC’s need buffing or something as players just keep flipping them and never careing if they keep them.

Maybe Points earned should increase per minute 1 to max so that keeping an objective is actualy worth it.

Although I agree mostly. I’d say wait a little more to see what happens.
There is a lot of flak going on about wvw. And the BL maps with the expansion will feature updated guard mechanics n stuff (ex= way stronger sentinels that block dolyaks in place, special tower lords, etc).

So maybe wait and see in this case.

Plus we have wvw population problems way more terrible than this atm^^

The basic WvW NPC’s are very weak. If you look at an upgraded camp you will notice that they get a couple of Zealot’s and Cabalists that are not present in un-upgraded camps. And those actually do a bit of a better job.

It would help a bit if they gave the basic NPC’s a little overhaul to be a bit more dangerous. Give them some more durability/sustain, let them have multiple aoe skills, condi cleansing, and let them ignore the skill limit so they can actually make a dent in a zerg.

But on the whole, EotM already did fix a bunch on this, and I believe that the Desert BL map will follow in EotM’s foot-steps and come with more interesting npc’s. So this might change soon anyways.
