ArenaNet would you please consider reducing the verbosity of nameplates in WvW. Currently they are too extreme and a hinderance to situational awareness.
I’m not sure if it affects client rendering either but would greatly appreciate it if you could adopt something along the lines of [Realm Abbreviation][Guild Tag]. The Invader/Defender designater is superfluous in my opinion.
Using a current matchup server name as an example:
Elona Reach [DE] Defender [PWND]
[ER][PWND]
Personally I find the profusion of nameplates when facing greater than 15 players extremely obstructive.
