Its cool, id like to have vabbi+deso merged since first day, just because i like them.

Id also like anet to delink us so we can have more even matchups and better fights.

But my friends are in deso, vabbi is just nice extra.

I doubt deso will be linked in next unlinking and our wvw organisation will become horrible again. I am afraid of the consequences but it must be done because we are BORED from everyone bandvagoning to deso+vabbi.

Anet should have closed vabbi when deso was marked full, now their only option is new pairings.

As a player on RoF I would like to echo the sentiments of our friends from WSR. One of the benefits of the RoF/WSR pairing was that we started with almost equal wvw populations. Therefore I don’t think either one of the servers feels like the junior partner. We have built good relations and have worked together well.

Given that I feel strongly that server linkage was forced upon us, to have the bond we have made with WSR destroyed now would, I think, harm both communities. And as others have said I don’t see how we can fight people we have made friends with.

We don’t need or perhaps have to be merged – but I believe permanent linking would be good for us – for both servers.

We can’t keep looking at “hey, well on my server” and “our linking is good”, we have to look at how wvw is doing as a whole.

This is akin to BG coming to the boards and saying “hey, BG and ET are awesome now, what’s the problem?”

WvW as a game mode is doing poorly and the entire mode needs to be addressed, not just pandering to individual servers or links.

As a WSR player my sentiments differ from that of yours and there is quite a number of players who don’t post on the official forums who also would disagree with permenantly linking both servers.

That’s without addressing the elephant in the room of the current link didn’t really help either of our WvW situations much. Nearly every other server has a higher population than our two servers as they were generally big enough to beat both of us to begin with and then got extras.

There’s also quite a few players I’ve spoken to that in general do not like how linking has made WvW a blob fest and solo/small group roaming is more or less camp flipping. Attacking anything that is T2 or higher will get you an intimate date with Mr Blobby with some sick dance moves and corpse jumping.
