Our stellar performance tonight has been shadowed by the almost sure looming drop in performance overnight. SoR is in need of oceanics and europeans to battle other servers. We are a friendly community made up of many guilds and we are a fierce competitor, at least during NA primetime. We have made it to Tier 2 however we cannot get you Tier one without full coverage…that’s where you guys come in :P

We can offer Upgraded Keeps and towers to our Oceanic and European allies, I can attest to Doomdesire himself dropping more siege than can be manned inside castles and garrisons!

Well Doomdesire i used to be at Sanctum after lunch and i was a proud member of EPIC guild and btw hi Mara and others guildies you guys are great.

I just came here to say something came to our server we are tier 2 and have same problem things is here we have a ver well organized community just for WvW i mean everyday we have more than 10 guilds working together and around 300 constant ppl in our server TS.

So if any american or oceanic guilds are thinking of changing server cause of WvW dead times, come Seafarest Rest we would happily receive you guys =)

Remember this the server that dominating tier 1 atm when we were qued out with band wagoners and such we came the closest of any server…to beating SoS, all we need to do is refill those spots with good night wvw guilds.

Any good off US hour wvw guilds looking for a home? where your hard work will not go to waste? Bring your whole guild or if your a single player we have many good guilds to fall into.

Any single WvW players looking for a nice place to settle in should give us a look at The Republic (SPQR) SoR server. If you love Wvw we can offer you a very good experience.
1. We WvW 5 nights a week at N/A primetime as a guild.
2. We currently field 30+ players on WvW nights
3. You will not hap hazardly be flung into a group. Groups are designed to compliment each others strengths.
4. We have a web page and mumble voice server.
5. We have weekly guild dungeon events.
6. Maxed out guild with all the perks.

You may have seen some of the videos of our work in past threads. We encourage anyone to come and give us a try, I believe you will not be disappointed.

Nice. Only minor gripe I see with SOR is our teamspeak server is rarely used, meaning most all the TS users jam pack one BL and congregate there.

As an example, 1:40pm on a Saturday I see 2 folks on Blue teamspeak server, 1 on Red, 1 on Eternal while there are 30plus on Green.

It is what it is….

That mainly is because a guild might only have 1-3 people go on TS at a time while the remainder of their guild uses a different VOIP.

Like reset night and such you see tons of Fate. Though you see a few Caedas, Choo, Gsch, TID, and many others. Now you might see 1 of those tags on TS but may have 20 of them in a map.

Some people dont like to dual VOIP. :x and believe me, at times it is hard to hear things with 2 VOIP’s open.

Also Bump because we are still looking for more friendly Eu/Aussie/Oceanic players.

I agree w/ the comments said by Mishi and others in this thread. Thanks Doomdesire for starting it. We are in need of more Oceanic and European players.

Allow me to point out some othre key quality points about Sanctum of Rall and why it may be the home for you!

• All of our Attacks are lead and coordinated by candy monsters.
• We save all the yaks.
• We offer bribes to allow us to win easier.
• We solo poop on Team Shatter.
• We hide golem zergs so well, noone sees them coming.
• We do not block other servers from getting there Jump Puzzles completed, its there for all to use.

Yes, our overnight is the weakest. If we know we have the coverage, you will have upgraded/sieged keeps/towers to start with. We are really good at working together.

The server really has true T1 potential, it just lacks coverage.

When Caedas is escorting yaks, we name them alphabetically like hurricanes and give them back stories. It makes the job much more personal when people try to kill them

Hate to burst your bubble. But oceanic recruiting drives don’t work out so well. There is only so many oceanics. They’re likely going to stick to servers where there are lots of other oceanics, not be some one’s skeleton crew night shift for WvW.

There’s a reason why all the smart North American players moved to SoS and why HoD as well as ET servers are pretty much dead. It is because the oceanic community will never leave SoS because they have no reason to. Even if the NA players abandon it. Oceanic players have really little else where to go and will still be there.

Can’t really comment on European players how ever. Good luck on convincing them to play on NA servers though.

What EEO programs do you have in place to ensure a safe and fair working environment?

What direct and indirect financial benefits can your server offer to the interested party?

Do you have social and recreational programs available?

Just a little tip for you. SoR isn’t looking for a night “Skeleton” crew. We have that.
We are looking for more people, who are friendly and want to also help during those times. It’s not like we have 0 night or early morning coverage. We just don’t have as much as our opposition, hince this thread and a few others.

SoS don’t have nearly as much fun as SoR. Go find the thread of World vs World vs Moose and don’t laugh…I dare you!

There might be only so many oceanic’s, but we’re allowed to be on whatever server we choose. Some of us like socialising with the other oceanic’s, insomniacs and devoted wvw-ders that this server has. Some of the names you constantly see in the BL or EB makes me wonder if anyone gets more than 2 hours sleep =) I have never felt like I’m someone’s skeleton crew.

I agree with you as n Oceianic member of SoR we are like a strike force we cause as much grife as possable for the othe severs at night.

some exciting thing i have done.

- held off a 2 server zerg attack on or keep lord for over 1 hour
- run around trying to put as many swords up as we can to appear larger than we are.
- BL hopped most of the night to claim things and create havoc for the other servers.

Being part of the SoR night crew has improved my WvW tactics and play no end so come on over to us Oceianics for some fun times

Interestingly enough, these threads do a lot to let people know who you are.

We’ve had conversations with at least 8 guilds since our post, the thing is, we are looking for long term quality guilds and individuals who want to be part of a solid community for the rest of their GW2 lives, not people who just want to come over because we are on our way up to tier1.

The server community and loyalty is pretty amazing, and we came from a #1 server back when SoR was ranked #15. The synergy of the current guilds and residents is something we haven’t seen. And it doesn’t have any of the drama we experienced on our old server.

Yea, our night crew is by no means a “skeleton” crew. We have enough people to easily overrun any server from t3 and cap the entire map.

The night crew here seems to be its own very close knit community where everyone sort of knows everyone else.

Any asians/oceanics that come here will be part of a great group of people.

• SoR has a night crew mascot. He has Pink marshmallow for a head and a dunny for a mouth.
• SoR has an Owl Commander that only leaves our Borderland for coffee and food.
• SoR has Ghost Chipz and Puzzel Time, even though we can’t eat Ghost Chips and Monique thinks we’re dumb.
• SoR RP Walks with the Dolyak Guards. Because we care.

It would be great to have more Oceanic and EU/Other TZ troops out here. If you are a lost soul looking for a new home, we got you covered. If you are a small or large off-peak guild, we have plenty of room for you, commanders and troops, mercs and guilds. We would always welcome more.

Lol Yes Ghost Chipz is a very Kiwi name i am still yet to find monique and ask her why she thinks i am dumb.

But i cant stress enough how much fun the SoR night crew is to be a part of

• We also have a roaming band of rabid Moose, Goats and Dolyaks.

Current matchup from about 7/8pm est to 3am est SoR usually ticks at around 300-400+ppt against BG and IoJ.

Our ppt goes to around ~100 from 3am est till 8/9am est because we just lack the overnight.

We don’t need the whole world to transfer here, but just enough to maintain a ppt close enough to keep it competitive.

Coming from a T1 server and playing against the top 12 already, I can easily say that in my opinion SoR has one of the most competitive NA crews around, we just need help during the oceanic times.

Though we probably do have room for maybe even 1 large or 2 medium NA guilds also to completely cap all 4 BLs with a reasonable 10-15min queue.
