Guild Wars 2

Hey, I have decided recently that I want to get back into Guild Wars 2 and one of the first things I want to do is change from my current server “Gate of Madness” to a more populated server that hopefully has a decent oceanic community as I am from Australia.
What is my best option for someone seeking a oceanic WvW community? Thanks.

Once upon a time Sea of Sorrows was the unofficial OCX server. I have no idea if this is still the case though. I expect most of the high pop servers have a decent OCX presence, it’s just a question of finding the guilds.

Sea of Sorrows still has a good OCX population but lacks organization. You see ton of players coming out when there is a recognizable tag. However, that doesn’t happen every day.

I think overall OCX on SoS is just a bit too casual and fair-weather.

HOD has a ocx guild called [STRM].

PS: Wouldn’t it be wiser to actually find a guild than a server?

Most servers have decent OCX presence these days. We’ve actually pretty successfully spread out.

SBI tonight had around 20-25 on EBG. FA runs pretty heavy at that time with up to 3 guilds depending on the night. JQ and BG still have the ability to queues maps during that time.

It honestly depends more on the commanders/guilds than the servers themselves. A good guild or commander can galvanise players and have them play even while outnumbered.

Just find a guild and go to their server
