So we are really okay with confusion?

I main a mesmer for WvW roaming, I used to main ranger roaming but small zergs became massive omniblobs that would chase you from durious to Anz… It gets old real fast.
Taking a stealth class, I can stealth and let the zerg run past or they don’t bother chasing, it’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than being chased around the map by 20+ people.
If the playerbase could refrain from zerg chasing roamers and get back to small group roaming then maybe I could play a stealthless class again, but safety in numbers I guess.
….. And Elementalist.
Confusion is kinda meh. Easiest way to counter is to have a work brain, 1 working eye and to know that the purple Ray is bad.
The second thing to realise is to not stand in the middle of 3 illusions because it’s gonna get really messy, real quick. Kill them with range.
Looking forward to how everyone is going to deal with condi revenant. I expect a 300+ thread detailing how ridiculously OP it is.
sat there with 6 stacks of confusion
That’s all you got on him, 6??? Mesmer’s are capable of opening from stealth with 18 stacks of confusion and 12ish stacks of Torment. On top of that add in the extreme DPS burst rotation, plus stealth, and that’s why Mesmer’s are OP atm. The Dev’s need to play World vs World a lot more to see how broken some builds are. Balancing around sPvP, then PvE, and not include WvW is silliness.
You went a little bit extreme there. Those 18 stacks of confusion and 12 of torment need a long build up, 2 full illusion shatters and land all confusing images, which mean the enemy is bad as hell.
I regularly stack over 20 on people with the 12ish torment. It’s pretty easy to open with scepter 3 and dodge, decoy shatter real quick on people.. some of the better people who are quicker at dodging can avoid some of the shatters, but most people eat a good amount of them lol. It’s def broken AF
Lets do a reality check, shall we?
Open with scepter 3 and then dodge decoy shatter. That little combo will give 6 confusion from sc3 and another 6 from the 2 clones + IP, the another 1 from ineptitude, totaling 13. Additionally, that combo will do 3 torment.
So your overpowered bursting combo actually does 3 torment and 13 confusion. Your ‘regularly stacking over 20 on people with 12ish torment’ is simply nothing more than a blatant lie.
