Been a real fun last week, what with blackouts to bring peeps in and swing scores wildly, leaving us neck and neck as late as Thursday. As close as scores were I fully expect you will be bringing your best game to us in the coming new week.

“Been a real fun last week”…..I disagree. It’s been zergier than ever to the point of being no fun. All it is becoming is zerg balls swarming around maps taking and swapping this point and that while playing keep away from each other until/unless they get an idea that their numbers are greater than the other side and an actual battle might ensue.

Hope the WvW “fixes” come soon!

Congratulations on your win this week SoS. Well done to BG for fighting hard and making it a great 3 way fight and for retaining your T1 spot.

Let us hope next weeks match up is just as exciting.

Man the last few days of this week’s wvw is beyond awesome. Great fights everywhere. SOS may fall, it’s inevitable, but not tonight.

I have to agree with the guy above, this week has been awful for people who run smaller groups. And since my computer isn’t the best around, I have a problem being that effective in zerg vs. zerg fights. And then you have people on both sides going out of their way to make the culling worse, it just gets lame.

Anyways, good fights and lets all get ready for reset. We all ready for Blackgate to actually be relevant for a few hours? I kid, I kid :P

Tonight will be crazy, can say that for certain.

I think one all nighter by SoS as opposed to basically playing the weekend and riding a lead indefinitely is a sacrifice we’re willing to make if it means our opponents do have to have those sleepless nights to even make it a race.

@Electricblues: Seriously, if you are having problems with enemy zergs as a smaller group, you’ve done something wrong – I can bump the relevant thread in our strat forum, if you like.

As for zergs & culling, I figure some 60% of the problem will be solved in the Monday update, and be able to see enemies just as quickly as ‘closest next foe’ keys can target them. The rest… Is up to us to adapt and A-net to complete their culling work. Oh, the culling work will make things harder for small groups, yes. But zergs are eg to cope with. Trick is in convincing our own allies to cooperate in the solution.
