Q:
Does the change to Swirling Winds in today’s patch prevent it from blocking siege shots now?
Can’t check it out myself for a while.
Thanks in advance!
Yes. Guardian/Thief/Ele can no longer block.
Just to clarify, there is now no way to block siege projectiles?
Correct, which is highly disappointing imo. I wish they could’ve worked that into the game, it was fun. I could see how it was a problem in the higher tiers though (requiring those classes to stay there for a long time).
Can we create a list of skills that get blocked an not ?
I think there might be some skills that werent proper discribed as projektiles but behave like that.
Maybe Meteor shower, dragons tooth, phoenix, comet to mention the ele skills.
What about Barrage ? and other skills from diffrent classes.

Ask the wiki people to copy the formatting that Bulbapedia has. Bulbapedia’s moves are listed with what affects them, so it’d be easy enough to list which projectiles are blocked/reflected and which aren’t.
For blocking treb shots use Mesmer sword #2 Blurred Frenzy.
You have to line yourself up so the treb will hit you in the chest/head and the shot is neutralized.
Best thing is that sword #2 refreshes quick enough to keep blocking each treb shot.
If the treb is hitting the side of a wall though you won’t be able to intercept it.
*not theory or “heard it from a mate”, use it often to stall wall collapse until back-up arrives.
