Increase mortar range to somenthing between 12000-15000 (treb range is 10000). Sometimes i don’t even bother in ordering a mortar in a tower since i can simply build a treb in a better spot (Not in the middle of the wall like mortars are) and that is going to be much more effective.

I don’t know of a Vale camp treb spot that can’t be trebbed from Bay. Even between the houses. Am I wrong on this?
I wouldn’t wanna nerf trebs. I think they’re more fun than golems as to having a siege.

Making mortars better at countering trebs would be nerfing trebs! :’(
Not really… You can still go on the wall and easily AoE a mortar (or at least 95% of the mortars IN THE GAME).
My proposal actually say: “Buff somenthing that is useless instead of nerfing somenthing that is usefull”

I don’t think trebs should be nerfed into being useless but more of an adjustment. If they had their range reduced say 5%, SM trebs could then be countered by ACs/Ballistas. As it is today, they can be built far enough back that a server must breach SM outer to take them down since no siege including counter trebs can reach them.

The problem here is that the counter treb location is on the wall that is being trebbed. The other problem is it is a blind counter. There is no inner location that I am aware of that can counter. So basically, the only counter that seems to work is to charge the camp and go through two choke points.

Placing the treb behind the south outer gate doesn’t work?
I will say though that I think that there should be treb locations for each keep that can’t be countered without having to leave the keep. Trebbing is slow, costs a ton of supply, gives people time to arrive, and I’d like it to be one of the ways you can crack a keep that’s completely sieged to the teeth.
I’d like keeps to be more like Bay and less like Hills basically.
