Looking forward to fighting in the mighty Kaineng and the NEO alliance. Hopefully we can give you guys a more competitive game than the lower tier servers have been.

Looking forward to battling you guys again as well.

Kaining has many guilds, in fact I wish I could get more 1:1 with some of them. I hold the utmost respect for all guilds who participate and help on this server.

Within the NEO alliance, we are just a fraction of that, and we realize and know this. We have a job that we do, and we do our best at any given time.

Rockonharder… you say coat tailing, but the fact is simple. It’s a matter of trust between everyone. Between guilds, individuals and between the server wvw community.

Everyone who steps through the portal regardless of size, squad, solo, or zerg… all contribute.

To those around on Kaineng, I would love to get to know some of you better. You know who you are, when I pass on some of my characters… I make it intentional to stop and say hello, welcome or pass a superior over as welcoming / thank you offering.

Feel free to IM me in game, there’s a number of us in NEO who would like to connect, get a stronger idea of what you all like to do / how you like to play without assumption. Add a bit more synergy to our WvW community if I may. Let me know if your guild likes to run squads, what, maps you prefer to play on, general information of playstyle.

The thing I don’t quite understand is why are you saying we are riding WM’s momentum ? Yeah, they are good in WvW, but we as NEO Alliance have our own thing to worry about. WM worries about WM, they keep their map painted just as well as we’ve been doing. Matter of fact, all of us combined are the ones that are bringing Kaineng to the top tier. So much hate and negativity, we have a start of a new beginning as of right now it’s coming along great.

Actually Kaineng started pushing 600+ PPT when WM arrived. All i remember of RE is a guild who used to claim all the fame of the server so much that even it’s own allied guilds would have to speak up to remind them that they were there too.

Well being that we are an NA time guilds…yes we are very glad and relieved that WM/KOR/SOS/Meow, etc are here for our night time force.

The last time we fought you on DH, we struggled in NA time, due to maybe 4 NA WvW guilds leaving and RE and I think GOF/SE were the only ones remaining, we could not que maps at all. And to top that we didnt not have a night time force, at all…So we were outmanned during NA, and we woke up every single morning with everything owned by DB..

Its not the same situation at all right now, and you know it too…

When we starting being matched up against each other DB could hardly field 20 people in our BL and EBG. we built from that and will continue.

And that attitude, changed and died long ago. You seriously don’t remember the 6-8 people defending your keep takeovers at 1am pst server time until 3am ish in EB? Of course not, on the other side of the fence it’s just a ‘just a matter of time battle’.

If I were troll your posts, I would add all I remember of a couple DB commanders who continually laid build site on top of build site even when we take it out with our defense siege, for an hour on end each night.

Things do change, and I personally look forward to the opportunity to play against DB with not 1, not 2, not 5 specific guilds … but everyone who is on kaineng. Each night I try to take some time to walk with some other commanders, stop and say hello to other guilds.

Server’s do change, and I look forward to fighting your EA squad again, along with DB’s new found allies.

I kinda see this thread as the same thing. that’s why i’m commenting. Also i don’t remember the 1am take over because i’m a NA player who was one of the few who had to hold out against both server’s as they both attacked us in hope of making up for what our night crew could score.

What’s with all the hate on WM? Does skill breed dislike? Waiting to see how they do against DB btw….

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yes, people don’t know how to beat them so they hop on forums and make a fuss.

I love being told I’m here because of WM when I spoke to WM’s scout about them transferring to Kaineng… /sigh

To DB yup looking forward to it, nope not b/c you broke something. Because you guys don’t run from fights more like… Take the complement like adults and don’t fire back petty insults. We all know you guys got transfers too.

Back on topic, happy to see the new guilds joining NEO!

Just wondered, though personally when I see a WM tag, I mentally salute. Those guys are good at what they do. I’m glad to have them. I suppose we will find out how NEO does in the higher tiers soon enough….

I think most of us do. NEO has worked hard from the start to remain allied with WM. We all work with them on a daily basis. You will see our commanders communicating with them and them with us.

It’s just a matter of people on opposing servers hate them. With reason I suppose, they get killed by them a lot and think Kaineng only has people because of them.

Well, I think the old adage “perception equals reality” applies here. I guess try to keep WM supported on here. It’s about the only thing we can do.

^^ This. Internally on the server, who cares what other servers think. We all fight for kaineng.

Naysayers will be naysayers. Trolls, trolls (and its all over the place). And yes, there are many who may have there own just causes for dilike, whether personal or not.

But in the end… everyone on our server, is fighting for our server. Those are the guys I enjoy learning and practicing with, regardless of guilds =) and for the most part I have seen everyone cooperating very well.

Everyone on kain do a great job so far, and we will only continue to grow more unified as we develop. I like that about the server.

The perception of WM is that they were in tier 1 and took their ball and ran.

Starting a distortion within tiers because they were hurt about something someone whispered them. IE, an emotional bunch.

I don’t think anyone doubts their skill in playing a game, but a lot may think they are an insecure bunch. Also evident by their post requesting that people stop saying they are bots.

There’s a lot of “god we’re awesome” posts, but I still don’t see Kainwagon reaching Tier1. As if you guys don’t realize just how strong SoS, JQ, and now SoR are.

It’ll take months to dislodge one of them and to do so you’ll have to get by TC/FA/Blackgate.

I’d like to thank you for trolling our post and ask you to provide evidence of much chest thumping by NEO members. WM has been vocal of their skill and we believe in them. However, this is a NEO recruitment post not WM complain thread.

I’d like to instruct you to read the posts above mine prior to calling it trolling. There was a discussion as to why the perception of WM is what it is.
