I respect a lot the servers we are currently playing against. I think next week any one can win. There is going to be a fantastic week. BR will be more confident, VS want to show they are the real number one. We will try harder (*) to beat you both.

(*) Fall your commander and their orders (if you don’t agree tell him, be polite, yes you to Mighty Ice Arrow, but you still have to support him and your comrades). Do not stay to long on JP, there is battle out there (keep the badges, and if you aren’t a regular player from WWW offer the Blue Prints to your guild, or to a commander, we will make good use of them). Avoid duels or group fights that don’t lead to any points gain (if you like this type of fights, you can go to SPvP or PvP, because WWW involves players, but it’s different from PVP).

In three consecutive weeks we beat them 2 times. Of course next week they can win and we can be third.
Possibly you are one of the guys that don’t recognize SFR as a legit server, because we have USA players.
I’m going to a talk with you like a Ranger, “French, German and Spanish have built their own trap”. Why? It’s because you resist to the use of English. I don’t understand when I’m Lions Arch, and I still hear many people searching for group using French or German.
But because I’m Portuguese I want to tell you more.
There are around 170 million people in the world speaking Portuguese, and around 98 million of people speaking German.
Why the Germans have their own serves and we don’t?
I don’t want a Portuguese server, for me is great to find players from other countries when I’m playing (Canadian guilds don’t you want to join us? I love your country and I love Canadian people!!!)

There are around 170 million people in the world speaking Portuguese, and around 98 million of people speaking German.
Why the Germans have their own serves and we don’t?

Number of language speaking people=potential guild wars 2 players?
387 million spanish speaking people around the world= can only fill 1 server
About 92 Million German speaking people= enough people for 7 servers
Close to 1 billion Mandarin speaking people=not enought for even 1 server

And the germans and french have their own servers because their mmo communitys are so big and it is financial useful for arenanet to give them thei rown servers. The possibility to speak german/french/spanish= more customers, who dont want or cant speak or write english.

And yes i wrote it many times. Arenanet did mistakes with serveral things, including national tagged servers, free server transfers and no region lock. But THEY didthe mistakes, so THEY have to solve it. If they dont want german/french speaking people to play on their own servers, they woulnd have tagged them. And having american guilds on eu servers, who nightcap (like they did at night 31st/1st and decided the matchup) is in my opinion an abuse of arenanet mistakes.

Just fyi before “SFR is blob server qq”

We were kicking your bums all day long despite the fact that we had outnumbered bonus for very good portion of each day.

Our “blobs” of 10 people were apparently so scary that more than once we had 30 man “inferior” numbers just flee in panic even without us moving towards them.

“PRX” – well dudes, I have been playing couple nights just to see how big numbers others had compared to us, we had like 4 people on each map while enemies had 20 man roaming “gangs” ganking us at our own spawn. I certainly hope PRX helped us a bit.

@Saviolakos : You are right, we didn’t even show good manners. Congrats on your first EU rank 1 I hope you now enjoy the hardest part : staying on the top.

About the blob thingy, i think the explanation is a misunderstanding. We are not thinking that you have more numbers overall during the week. Well you had it last week but it was kind of different.
Vizunah players are sometimes angry because of the way you play. When it’s “prime time” and you are at full force, your server moves are the biggest we’ve ever seen in numbers. You never hesitate to put more than 40 or 50 people at the same place to take a keep. Who can blame you ? It works. But trust me, since 15 weeks we’re in T1, not a single server has ever used this tactic of stacking people as good as SFR does.

Hence the “qq” about blobs, and the misunderstanding beetween tactics at full force and overall numbers.

I feel that blobbing is kinda state of the current game. When one side see the other one stacking up, they react with the same. If it wouldn’t be needed, I think noone would do it. It affects culling a lot, cause the more allies around you the less enemy you see. So it’s a double edged sword.
You say SFR makes the biggest blobs you saw. We reacted the same way when we first saw VS blobs after entering T1. It’s really a matter of perspective. It feels that this is the way the game is evolving.

But, putting discussion of who makes bigger blob aside, is it really a bad thing? Coordinating hole map together, working as a unit – if it works, then why blame anyone for using such strategy? If it brings results. Just yet another not so nice part of wvw next to nightcapping. But effective.

Honestly, if you say that “since 15 weeks we’re in T1, not a single server has ever used this tactic of stacking people as good as SFR does.” this is more of a praise then offense. We do have guilds that like and can fight on their own in smaller groups, we can attack in multiple places with smaller forces and we can also all join up together for a decisive push when its needed. Yeah, look at the picture, “[Cpc] commander” – that’s mostly the reason why we can fail our siege attempts at your resp towers – treb in safe zone with invulnerable players. Gratz, please continue boasting about you slaying anyone in fight when you’re sitting in safe zone against smaller group.

Oh, and especially for you, Faunus, i don’t know if you were involved though, that was really fun to see you using tons of golems and failing to even get them to second doors of the keeps .

Medium population server is a server with (just an example) 1000 active players, High population server is a server with (always an example) 3000 active players. These numbers are the players available on the server, assuming that in every servers in T1 (maybe T2) the % of active WvW players is equal (30% ? Maybe 40% ?) In the first server you have 300/400 available players during the day to play in the WvW on the second you have 900/1200 players.

SFR during the last week (with exception of Eternal) had no queue to enter ? was the same for both servers ?

We are in T1 simple because we beat your server 2 times in 3 weeks. Bytheway you can find always in some Border with Tag OSC.

There are two sides of meaning iside your answer as it seems to me:
1. Wow, you seem to think that what’s shown in screenshot is not fair tactics? REALLY?! That’s a big step forward if even one man from VS would think so.

What was annoying about last night in EB was the 15-20 man group lead by a commander that I had never heard of before camping the JP and not giving a stuff about the score or the fact they were preventing wvw players from entering the map whilst we lost most of the t3 towers, and in fact laughing about it.

New tactic to prevent SFR winning a third time- get a guild to move to SFR and take up 15-20 slots during primetime? Probably not, more likely just some more server jumpers who think it’s fun to screw up wvw.

JP should not be in wvw or should have a 30 minute max stay or should only be accessible after each 50 wvw kills (for 30 minutes).

I will tell you what is annoying. Going to a map only to continually have to chase down both sides (Elona and Vizunah) because neither want to fight you!

We’re currently making a montage of guilds that simply turn and run away when they see us, its really annoying. We turned to capping Elona’s spawn tower and leaving the door open in the end simply to get some fights. Vizunah poked their head out of bay now and again to take down our lure trebs but as soon as we went down to engage that simply scampered back into bay.

After learning that WL were in EB we wanted to swap there but EB had a large queue, so WarLegend, whichever map you guys go on tonight, let us know so we can come play

Hi a great part of elonas have respect for viz stay so many inT1. They saw so many servers coming in T1, say something in kind of “yeah here we are ….” , and gone …

We know it, we know also (so many common sense should we have) that our way is between T3→T1 (if the popultion will still be same)

So my personaly respect for vizu. I think every 4 weeks we will meet again

Firstly, T1 is not Rank 1 in EU Ladder….maybe you should read all the post before you try to answer…. as it clearly shows you didn’t. Inside it I said clearly “win or lose, we will be there to face you”.
Secondly, we are here for 4 weeks with the current one, and hopefully we going for 5th… i think that shows a bit of our dedication.
My last , kinda flaming (and sorry for that), comment was because most of the VS posts over here shows a bit of arrogance and not good sportsmanship. None of you congratulate us for winning our very 1st rank spot in EU Ladder… shows abit of spoiled kids losing. You always find something to QQ about when you lose but when you win, it because of your skills. A bit of being modest is not bad from time to time, maybe you should try it and then you’ll see how real respect is gained.
In my opinion, most of our guilds will not be dissappointed for losing a week, at least the core guilds of our server. We prefer to look for the long run and not be shooting stars, and I think that’s what we will try to, fail or not time will tell… or maybe i should caps it for you since you find it hard to see those comments that matter and focus only on the flaming comments… FAIL OR NOT, TIME WILL TELL.

I think you can sum up T1 as follows…
SFR – the more skilled individual players but lacks numbers
ER – semi-skilled players and able to produce numbers from elsewhere on the map to rescue bad situations. ER will try and sneak attack places by coming in behind VS and SFR battles but do not have the numbers to always pull it off and as a result lose a lot of territory fast to VS.
VS – huge numbers but on the whole individually very weak (with the exception of one or two rare players who are very skillful). VS will wait until SFR and ER are fighting each other and then try to steal the win with shear numbers when all the hard work has been done by SFR or ER. SFR are often able to take out VS zergs twice the size in numbers but ER tend to get swamped by VS.

Stop being annoying in the JP unless you wanna get trebbed.

Really cant put it like that.. Cause all the servers have some of everything.. If you run around solo and manage to get a 1v1 with anyone you will see that both VS and ER have very good Individual players.. Aswell as some small roaming groups that are great to fight against when coming with your own roaming group.. And all 3 servers also have terrible players where you sometimes wonder " do they know dodge is in the game?" . Ofc you can have an opinion based on what you see, but also depends on what kind of player you are..

It doesn’t mean anything that Deso is FULL. It’s almot FULL of PvE players.
