When WXP abilities were added in me and my friends were excited about lots of the possibilities but most of all Golems. So we waited… and waited… then season 1 came around they said they weren’t going to make any more abilities till after league ended so we stayed hopeful… now here we are at season 2 still no golem mastery…

Me and my friends made up a couple of neat ideas could use for it that wouldn’t make golem mastery too OP but it’d be just enough to actually make a difference.

1: Increase the Siege Bubble time by 3 seconds
2: Increase Speed of golem by 25% (people already do this by using travelers)
3: Add a skill (6th slot?) Maintenance Oil Gives Golem 5 seconds of Quickness 45 second cool down
4: Increases Damage by 15%
5: Golems are now no longer Immune to speed buffs

For WXP cost I think it should be 10,30,60,100,150 (it costs 150 WXP total to finish the line) The reason for the high pricing is so only dedicated WvW players will be able to use golem mastery making it a rare occurrence to see a golem master.

The biggest problem with golems is they are too darn slow the speed increases before anyone starts QQ-ing about how golems are slow cause they are powerful keep in mind ALL THE SPEED BUFFS SUGGESTED ARE ALREADY BEING USED DAILY people buy traveler runes just to go faster in golems warriors will have signet of rage just for swiftness when jumping in golem with these abilities above this will make getting swiftness and speed buffs more accessible to people who don’t want to have a armor set just for walking a golem.

A regular ram can do the same amount of damage 2 alphas can do and cost 1/5 the supply along with people don’t see giant walking rams (as humorous as it would be to see lol) coming toward them.

Buff the Golem Speed so they run x10 times faster.
Reduce supply count needed to make Golem by x10 times.

2nd and 5th are too strong for Golem
Golems are meant to be slow, or else Golem rush will be that much easier. (Ik mesmer can warp Golem rly fast, but at least it’s situational)

The point on making golems is that you can move them and use them on multiple gates/walls.

Golem Master: (Total cost: 75. Incremental cost: 5/10/15/20/25)
-Reduces fall damage taken by 50% while in a siege golem
-Increases movement speed by 15% while in a siege golem
-“Whirling Assault” now adds 4seconds of burning to foes
-“Shield Bubble” lasts an additional 4seconds
-Reduces physical damage taken by 5%

That was the suggestion I had written in another thread. Some are very similar to your own suggestions but I find these to be slightly less OP. Golems are already very powerful siege engines, buffing them to any serious degree would be game breaking.
