Look at the news section, it’s all ESports and PvP. It’s like they think that QoL and visibility changes are what is holding that back.

Same ole story for GW2. They have a solid WvW player base only because there really isn’t anything better out there. As soon as another MMO that has action based PvP combat comes along, WvW players will flock away from the game. So far though everything that has come along has been worse… looking at you ESO.

Exactly. 2014 was supposed to have been a great year for MMO titles.

anet I like the game but pay attention to wvw … I am here olny for pvp and wvw…

I have to agree with Hexalot. Korean devs are just not up to producing secure games for other markets, because they don’t have to do that for their own market.

But we’re getting off topic here. The fact is WvW is the red-headed step child in this game and it’s getting old.

I think the lack of a response in this forums tells you all you need to know. Unfortunately, I don’t believe there is a WvW dev team at this point.

No, keep making these threads so people who may happen to check the forums when they consider buying stuff can think, “Maybe I shouldn’t waste my money on a game where the devs don’t seem to have much consideration for their players.”

Well, I gave all the advices I could on this forum and nothing has improved for WvW. I think I’m going to take a break from this game, I’m didn’t want to do another tournament without new content anyway.
I’ve been wishing Anet would decide to invest into their competitive mode and fix the broken systems (PPT, make new maps and add GvG.) but nothing is happening and my friends are leaving.

TY for all the amazing battles in Tier 2.
TY Anet for what was an amazing game originally. It will have kept me busy for 2 years and plenty of hours anyway. It would have been an even better one if you continued developing WvW content (everything you need is on this forum already).

I guess I’ll still log in 30 minutes every 2 weeks to do the living story anyway.

If they can’t find a way to monetize WvW they should be fired. (as should be the rule for any development company that has over 1000 pages with suggestions on how to monetize WvW. (even as suggested by adding a monthly fee)

-There are guilds running around who want you to buy a certain outfit on certain days so we can all run around as Quaggans, cooks etc while fighting.
-They can implement so many things and create so many things for WvW that will always be profitable i don’t know where to start to mention them.

So that argument is a sign they have no idea how WvW can be played, what is needed and how to implement them.

It’s the saddest thing (if true) i ever heared from developers.
And trust me i talked to kittenloads in my glory wc tournament days.

Best way to be heard is leave the game its simple. Maybe they will wake up.. maybe, i have lost all hope already.

Everything besides the living story lacks attention in this game. Anet has shown no care.
