So SoR has destroyed its opponents this week and the lands are safe and peaceful once more.

So, the soldiers have turned for farming…

Pretty much a big group of players are sitting in one confined space in the lake, spamming attacks in every which direction, pulling krate and killing them for loot at no risk. They’re all unresponsive, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find the group started as a bot party. You can see a bunch of players attached to guilds mixed in. Who knows. People are asking, is this “illegal”?

You already indicated you knew that they were bots, so the point of this thread is what, exactly? Yes, botting is against the rules. No, following bots around and killing things with them is not.

botting is not allowed. a normal player taking advantage of bot? prolly okay.

Here we go. I’ve just discovered how hard it is to report a group of players crammed into a tight space. Reminds me of sardines given the fishy theme.

Well, when we finally broke Blackgate’s iron grip on their borderlands our little party came across a “ball” of krait-farmers-bots in roughly the same spot. It was odd because they all had different guild tags.

Arena net can’t even ban regular bots so I didn’t bother reporting them. Most of them reset moments after they died.

Those orb bonuses must really help these bots! Also the price of krait droppings has devalued drastically. (Click 1-month range http://www.gw2spidy.com/item/24289 ) Now farming the lake and protecting pearls have even less incentive! Way to go!!!
