Not really QQing here (or maybe I am) but I am from the NSP server and last week we contended against Stormbluff Isle and Yak’s Bend. Now that’s over with, we are now contending against Dragonbrand and Yak’s Bend (again?). Now, don’t get me wrong. I personally do not have that much of an issue with WvW as I am no hardcore player of that mode, but I would like to say facing off against the same server again can just be flatout frustrating. I’d suggest that after facing a particular server on the current week, when matchmaking against other servers, do not include the server that we just faced until say, next week perhaps? That way, the players like myself would feel like starting fresh when hitting it off in Eternal Battlegrounds.

we are in the middle of a tournament (week 3 out of 4 weeks total). normal matchmaking rules do not apply during a tournament, instead swiss-style matchups are used.

the week 2 blowouts are expected in this kind of matchmaking.

What are you talking about? You came in second last week. You beat SBI so you get the more difficult match.

I’m on Blackgate, and we’ve been fighting the same 2 servers EXCLUSIVELY for nearly a year now. And it was the same for a full year before that. There simply isn’t another fair matchup in this Tier, and many other Tiers are in a similar situation, as the difference between servers can be massive just from 1 Tier to the next.

Yes but we still get YB. If we are to get a difficult match, that’s fine by me. But I’d rather it be against another server.
