Guild Wars 2

Imagine, a new MAP, environments near the spawn is dependent on race, with 5 spawns, any player from any server who joins is automatically placed on a team based on his/her Character’s race. Each has 2 towers/camps near their spawn, and a Stonemist like Castle in the middle to take.

Pretty much open field. Just 1 Keep in the middle, Free for all.

Race that wins the skirmish gets some kind of complimentary buff like (+ 100% exp bonus or magic find) that lasts till another race wins the skirmish.

That remmidns the war of emperium from RO.
good old times :\ and lots of lag :], altough castles were a very important thing in that game.

Asura side would overwhelm everyone else.

Char would lose every match.

war of emperium hype RO was the kitten. WvW reminded me of RO and made me play GW2

back to OP’s idea, problem with this is people would just stack a race to get buffs/ rewards and win skirmishes. would be no different than people stacking servers now or during the seasons. eotm system works because its random every week for the most part and honestly is what they should do to prevent stacking and make matchups more balanced but people and their server pride, probably wont ever happen.

So based on user feedback so far the team should be :

Team 1 : Human female
Team 2 : Asura
Team 3 : The rest

I think we are good to go

Don’t think you could replace WvW with this but I’d certainly love to see it as a separate game mode.

Don’t you dare compare the legendary RO to GW2, not even the infamous WoW can dent its image

the very definition of mmorpg that is RO is only on par with the anime SAO, and that is an anime
you will play as the character, you role play

aside from that, i agree with you, the game that also made me play GW2 was RO, hoping to find here what RO did….

Charr will win because every zerg guard/warrior has to be a maxiumum sized charr with super sayajin hair.
