We need more things to use them on or to atleast be able to sell them. Myself and tons and tons of other people have gotten to the point we just destroy them. They take up inventory space.

It’s been 8 months. If we had keep the Ascended materials all that time we would have filled our inventory bank 10 times over.

That said hording those useless mats really helped save me a few gold whilst leveling my crafting to 500.

How about giving us a trader that takes dragonite for guild siege and the other junk for superior siege? Make it as expensive as you want, let 1 piece of siege cost a stack of mats, at least we could have a use for it.

If you don’t like that then how about letting us use them as a currency for upgrades? Or for hiring extra workers to make upgrades go faster. Here skrit, I’ll give you some shiny empyreal fragments to build these cannons for me.

I thought Devon made this comment after ascended armor had been released.
If my memory is correct they announced ascended armor around July or Aug of 2013 and released it in the beginning of December with the Wintersday patch

According to Dulfy, it was announced on Aug 16 and added to the game on Dec 10 with the Wintersday Patch.
Unfortunately Devon’s Post only says “8 months ago” so we can’t know for sure but it could have been after the patch.

I am pretty sure it was stated before Dec. 10th.

If you click on the 8 months it will switch it to the date. Devon’s post was on November 15th.
