New content Vs. Forming a group in WvW properly.

The fight was fixed.

WoW I was actually able to use the group functions in WvW for the first time since release. I was able to kick an offline party member and right-click names in the chat window. Took over 13 months but we have basic functions now.

- Still no right click options in the guild roster window while in a WvW zone though.

I’m glad to see it was finally addressed and hopefully we can get the guild UI roster working with right-click options and get a new C&S system sometime in the near future.

No, but we have toxic mobs in WvW now and and at least one person thinks they contributed something to the game.

because anet is superlazy fixing easy stuff like party options, instead they implement masteries/ leagues/ new achievements/ LS crap in wvw but easy fixing uhu

Your options available also change depending on the proximity of the player you are selecting.

If a player is in cliprange and you can target him. This will bring up a nameplate with some right-click options. If a player is not in targetable range you are screwed and have to use /slash commands for everything and reform groups to remove offline players.

What’s really fun is when someone sends a tell asking for invite and they have those ACSII characters in thier name. YOU try manualling inviting a guy named Æunbê using /invite. If we had working right-click options in WvW that we do in every single PvE zone… we could simply right-click on Æunbêa’s name and invite through the UI, chat window or from tells.

Having BASIC grouping functions not working after almost a year is a crime. With all the living story content pumped out every 2 weeks there is simply no plausible reason this shouldn’t have been addressed by now.

The problem is not really kicking party members when they are in game; it’s kicking them when they logged-off or crashed and didn’t leave the group

It’s when that guy with the ACSII characters named Æunbê logs in and says "Give me a invite to the WvW group. I can’t use the UI, and I can’t manually invite as I don’t know all the ASCII codes. So I have to wait for him to zone, direct him to our location and actually be in visual range to invite though the UI.

It shouldn’t be so difficult to simply invite a guild member to a WvW group or do other basic functions like kick offline properly. Not in this day of MMO’s… don’t even get me started on the lack of private grouping systems for more than 5 people.

But it’s been around since the start, we would MISS it if it got fixed!

No… no I wouldn’t miss it. I certianly wouldn’t be so @#%&^% frustrated though.

And another major patch is released. (checking if this has been fixed)…..

You could also invite using a different character’s name(assuming they have more than one character), also the display name.

The game now auto kicks offline people as well which can be annoying as well. -_-
