why cant a rev use utility skills while holding banner?
dragon banner for example

Idk I havnt tried it but it’s either mechanics or balance issues.

Rev legends have a few quirks.

Don’t use tactics banners but I assume that all of the other classes can use their utility skills while holding a banner?

probably because you cant use your f-skills while holding abanner, and the revs utilities are tied to their f-skills. prob not intended tho

Apparently you were in the fight we had with FA last night. Two dragon banners fighting a two zergs at one time, roughly 60 people against 39 and we wiped them when we both used skill 5 and 2 at the same time. If used in choke points they are quite devastating.

Dragon banner with on interrupt/CC can be devastating.
Centaur is cancer with condi specs…so.

Random scrubs in pvt gear won’t do much, yeah.

Revs being in game is a bug. That’s why.

i assume it was because rev be god tier if they could use there heal skill.

i reported this like 2 week after release of hots lol.

Turtle banner can single-handedly win a fight for you.
Before Mistrust trait from mesmers got removed, drag banner could do it too.

I do agree that Centaur banner is worthless tho.

PS. When you have a banner all you F-skills and everything related to them doesn’t work. Rev utilities come purely from F-skills. That’s why Revs don’t have utilities while carrying a banner. This has been around since HoT came out, don’t expect this to get fixed for a few more years, if ever….

centaur banner skill are not that strong but it auto is one of best in the game. perma stab is very annoying to fight against.
