wvw is failing

I have seen the complete opposite. WvW has seen a huge influx of people since WXP. I think more have been drawn to WvW than have left.
Lol, that’s due in part to TC buying guilds from CD and the fact that your server is a bandwagon!

Either way if WvW was failing there would not be queues on any servers from what I hear it is actually quite common on most servers.

This is failing because 99% of the players across all 8 tiers are casual zergers. They do the same thing everyday. Build siege group up, build seeing group up. There isn’t any real skillful fighting so people get bored because there isn’t an adrenaline rush from intense strategy in small scale fighting goin on. Big fights are easy, numbers wins. Tone down your numbers and start focusing on actually killing people and surviving… And it won’t fail. Otherwise, just donate to Camelot unchained.

Well I mean they have a point. They really should of looked at DAoC’s RA system and made it more similar to that and less similar to some kind of WoW talent tree bullhonkus. Just my opinion though, I know several who like the new wxp and are happy to even get a bone thrown at them from anet.

No problem, was just saying a lot of people are happy to have a patch for WvW and are enjoying it, despite the perceived problems it does have for some people. And I tend to agree with that, we can’t say they are ignoring the WvW crowd anymore, even if maybe they could try a little harder

true “world” vs “world” isn’t possible WvW should really be treated as large population fixed map games, not massive.
Can be very nice if it was tuned to 100 player cap for each side, so Anet’s hardwares could comfortably handle.
Skill lag is destroying T1 wvw communities.

Another issue is to make it so the points per tick goes down to like 1 pt per tower when one server greatly outnumbers the other servers.

What?! It’s totally oppsoite: NEVER again free transfers. And make paid ones 10x more expensive. It’s normal to have same opponents for few weeks, it’s how rankings work. And it’s good, I had nice month on GH, until some guilds moved and it’s boring again, until ranking stabilizes…
