Thank you for taking the time to read about our guild Deaths Gallows who calls Anvil Rock server home.
The Guild
Deaths Gallows (DEAD) was created in the hopes of allowing new, and old players, a chance to have fun relax and be themselves. Without the feeling that they have to log in every day to stay a member. It currently consists of 15 well rounded players across all level spectrums. We want to make you feel welcome not an outcast. As we are still growing the guild events aren’t very often, such as dungeon runs and the like. However we do still participate in them so we want more people to join in so we can do more events and partake on the fun and prizes. We do have a guild banner, guild stash and all of the level one upgrades, we are continuously adding more.
Our focus isn’t anything in particular, but the collective experience of players spans across many MMO’s. Some of us years of experience on such games, and have plenty of stories and experiences to share. We also have a website for our guild members. If you do decide to join registration is free, but not mandatory (only for officers is mandatory).

The Players
Our player base is composed of 19 well-rounded players (and growing) who enjoy the many aspects of Guild Wars 2. We know how to relax and have fun, but we also take care of business. We recognize that behind every character is a person at a computer, and will be treated as such. Disrespect will not be tolerated. That being said we are a mature guild (but will take on younger players so long as it’s not the whole roster)
Deaths Gallows members play the game in a stress free zone. We know that negative attitudes can create an unfriendly gaming experience, so if you are having troubles don’t be shy! Ask for help. After all, a game is meant to be fun not a torture experience. We need to relish in victories and learn from defeats, that’s how you get better at a game.
Commitment to game guild
As people and gamers we all understand that you have lives outside of GW2 and don’t expect you to be logged in at all times. We don’t have any active requirements that require you to log in every day week or whatever the case may be. Log in and play at your leisure is all we ask. And in doing so represent, that is the only way we can continue to grow as a whole. With that we don’t want you to join and be completely inactive; we want players who play on a somewhat consistent basis. You might not be on much one week but extremely active the next. That’s great! But we don’t want someone collecting dust.
Requirements
As it stands we have a website and want mostly our officers to join, but welcome any member. A lot of our guild events will be up there once we become more active, but for now it is mostly to know who stands where.
Our second requirement is that you must represent. I understand that people are new to the game and are unsure of how. That’s not a problem I am more than happy to help you with that. However, if you are not representing, and haven’t responded to my whispers or in game mail within a reasonable amount of time, I will remove you, and I hate doing that.
The third one is to have fun. Do I need to say more? :-D
Advancement
Advancement is based on three things.
Everyone starts out as a recruit.
1. How long have you been a member of Deaths Gallows
2. How active are you (IE talking, helping, representing etc)
3. Loyalty. I don’t want to promote you and then you leave the guild without rhyme or reason, or even a warning.
