Who we are looking for:

We’ve decided to re-open applications to join our guild. This time however we have limited the amount of people we will accept to roughly 25 people and so we will be reviewing all applications we receive and choosing the people best suited to our guild rather than instantly accepting most applications as we did previously. Reason for the limitation is that despite being a 100 member strong guild we are a close-knit community and intend on remaining so.

So what kind of people are we looking for? Well first of we look for sociable people with a good sense of humour. We get rather insane at times not to mention say outrageous things so someone who isn’t too easily offended, likes a good banter, likes to chat actively, participate in events etc. That being said you need to be mature enough where it matters most and understand the difference between having fun or being annoying, having a laugh or being offensive.

We hope to find people who have enough spare time to be able to play regularly as well as love for the game to be motivated to do so. We understand limitations due to work, college and family life most people have and therefore with the above the intention is more that you are passionate enough about Guild Wars 2 that you’d invest and find time for it after the above mentioned priorities (We are basically looking to make the chat, events and partying up more active in our guild).

Though we have no age limit to our recruiting we do tend to favour people who are 18+ due to an adults ability to understand the line between fun and maturity better. That said don’t be afraid to apply if you aren’t we will review each application on it’s own merits not based on age, this statement is merely to underline that despite the banter we’re a mature guild and mostly consist of adults (Not to mention our chat tends to quickly escalate into 18+ conversations ).

We only accept people who are on Desolation EU or who would be willing to move to Desolation because we hold events that require you to be on our world. We also require you to represent us at least 95% of the time. If you want an impression of what our guild is like I think this says it all:

A lot of us enjoy doing dungeons, exploration or pvp
We use in game chat, forums, facebook group and Raidcall to communicate
Ages range widely 16-40+ (al though majority are 18+)
and we have both male and female members
Our main language is English but we have members from all over,
As long as your English is understandable
