Who are we?

The New Reality is a european guild that has been here since headstart. We were formerly called “Quality Over Quantity” but changed our name to something more memorable. We’re a small/medium sized community and intend to stay that way, even though we would like to furtherly expand. Our policies are very casual and we have no requirements as to how much you have to play throughout the week, as long as you’re regularly online and active. We strive to keep a healthy and mature community within our guild, where everybody has a saying and an impact.
We’re an english speaking guild centered in europe, most of our members are either English or Scandinavian but we have a few from Czech and every nationality is of course welcome!
Even though we are a casual guild we are not in Tyria just to goof around ALL the time, therefore we try to maintain a decent skill-level within the guild. This means that we’re looking for experienced and serious players, that like to have som fun with like-minded players!
Maintaining a decent skill-level within the guild naturally requires good communation, and that is why its important that you are close to fluent in english both verbally and in writing.
Voice-Chat is available but not a requirement, as everyone enjoys to just listen to music while playing sometimes – And that is fine! However, if we arrange any events to WvW/sPvP Tournaments/Dungeons it will definitely be preferred!
This is why its important that you write your application with somewhat decent grammar as well.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for players with close to fluent English both verbally and in writing, the latter being the far most important. We do not require people to have a perfect english accent since i myself am from Denmark, and therefore have an accent as well. But it’s important that you have an understanding of basic grammar in english.
You have to have decent experience with gaming in general, not necessarily GW2 though. Basically any online PC-Game will do!
The most important trait we’re looking for is for you to have good common sense and “logic”. And i cant stress enough how important this is! This is to ensure that we establish a community with like-minded players. A relaxed and friendly attitude as well as a mature and intelligent approach to any task that might present itself!
This being said: We are NOT looking for elitists, because that is not a mature and relaxed attitude.

• 18+
• English speaking
• Timezone: Preferably European
• Skilled players with gaming experience (Both PvP and PvE)
• Friendly, relaxed and mature personality
• No “elitists” – We want a healthy guild-environment
• Willing and able to be on voice-chat occasionally. (We will most likely be using C3, although that is not set in stone)
• Most importantly: Quality over quantity

This thread might seem very serious but in reality we’re a very laid back and relaxed guild, and im not some police-officer keeping track of playing time or anything in that regard! So dont hesitate to contact me or leave an application!

Regarding application:

Please note that we do not have any preferences with respect to your personal life, whether you’re a plumber or an engineer does not matter at all. But we need some information to decide if you’re right for the guild, or the search has to continue. When writing your application, please write more than two lines of text and do so with decent grammar. This will both increase your chances as well as help us finding new recruits. We are an english speaking guild and therefore i have to make sure that everybody is easily understandable in writing – communication is important!
