Over The Limit is a startup guild that is looking to grow bigger with the community of Blackgate (main server), as this was my first and only server. I joined in several guilds but found them not suitable for me. In one of the guilds, the guild leader did not appreciate things people have done for him, therefore, many people left because of him. So I thought, why not create my own guild. The reasoning in creating my own guild is that I want to focus on quality instead of quantity because in a community, people would be appreciated in a smaller guild compared to those big guilds out there that barely know your existence (past experience).

I’ve started the guild name by thinking of some funny tags like ORZ, Omuz, and many more, but found OTL to be the favorite one. The purpose of the tag is a person kneeling down, putting both hand (T) and knee (L) on the ground. Over The Limit is to push yourself to the limit and OTL’ing when you have achieved what you aimed for.

I really think that guild wars 2 is a heavy team oriented game and the community is all that matters. I personally do dungeons on a daily basis and I can tell you that playing alone is very boring in guild wars 2 because you cannot have fun without knowing that your team is there to support you.

I would like to start the guild by doing PvE/dungeons first as new players may need guidance and help through their initial startup. Farming dungeons can easily gain gold as they boosted the bonuses, with the limitation to “one path per day”. We will be preparing for World v World when our funds are sufficient and players willing to go further.

Current guild recruitment is offering a 50 gold raffle draw when you join our guild! Yes, 50 gold, you heard me right!! Although 50 gold doesn’t sound like a lot, but I do hope that people don’t join the guild on the basis of the money, but for the experience. The purpose is to let people join the guild and experience the community with a chance to walk away with a prize. This is not here to waste your time and my time, but to make the recruitment more interesting.

Simple rules to win the prize are set below:
1. Join the guild
2. Represent the guild for the entire month*
3. When the month end and the will be drawn from random (Absolutely fair draw)
4. You may choose to stay or leave if the guild does not suit you.

Recruiting requirements are all preferred, but some are really important!
1. Mature mind set, basically 18 years old or older
2. Any server because PvE/dungeon contents do not require to be on the same server, but for World v World, must be in the same server, which is Blackgate.
3. It does not matter if you are new or old players, only need to have a positive attitude when things doesn’t come your way.
4. TeamSpeak 3 is our main communication and it is simple to master =).
5. We are mainly focused on recruiting Oceanic through to South East Asia (SEA) time zones, GMT+8. Guild masters know English and Mandarin/Chinese.
