I’m sure this has happened to many, I know I’m not the only one, so I thought I’d bring it up here just in case it’s been ignored. As many are aware, when jumping into the portal to fight the Prime Hologram, you normally end up dead due to the lightning scorch waiting for you as you spawn in.

This is extremely annoying, as it seems to wipe out half the players trying to get into the battle to start with. It makes sense that Scarlet has started to attack, but it would be nice if the patterns were adjusted a little so you didn’t just jump into a portal of death every time. So far I’ve gone up against Scarlet about 8 times and 7 of those has started off with a insta-death from the very beginning.

Happened to me the first time I participated….. quite annoying.

In the past couple of events I’ve taken part in, it’s happened every time which is quite frustrating. I don’t care about the achievements so much, but it’s just a bad start to the fight.

Perhaps it’s working as intended. With 100% of the players trying to get both achi’s at the same time during an event I doubt the fight will ever succeed. By dowing 50% at the start they make sure a good chunk of players actually contribute. So far I noticed it’s the first in that get downed; so if you need the achi’s make sure your one of the last going in.

I usually stand by to rez people who are spawning. The entire fight’s been frustrating and simply not fun. Knights are fine. Would love to see this really cool ending everyone’s talking about.

Happens to me all the time. Quite frustrating.

Once had 50% of the participants wiped while loading in.

It happens because of the zerging of the knights. If you sync kill all three knights, you get up to the drill and have a few minutes of waiting + a full 30 minute timer. If you zerg the knights one by one, you warp in at around 25 minutes left in the battle, because the event begins inside the drill after the very first knight is killed.

If you don’t have an SSD, about the only thing you can do right now I’d say is stand near the color buffs at the very last knight just before it dies and get your Prime as soon as you possibly can, then run straight for the portal. Any time I’m one of the very first ones up to the tower, I spawn to the left of a laser beam and am generally safe.

If I get hit or downed when going through the portal, I WP out of there and don’t take part in the fight since it’s pointless when I’ve failed both achievements the first millisecond of the fight.
