I got a really nice idea about a new living story arc that I believe people will like as it is not about Scarlet kittening around smashing stuff and destroying awesome lore. This one is about Dominion of Winds. I think Anet should start progressing towards Tengu and dragons, it is best to link them so there will be a nice topic. My idea is that DSD minions start attacking Dominion of the Winds from the inside as part of it is in the water and we kinda are let inside to help Tengu and start campaign against DSD.

So first update could be called “Dominion of Winds: Tengu Trouble”
In this update we see that some Tengu are coming out of Dominion, evacuating and time by time we see more of them. They tell nothing about it to us. So, Marjory, Kasmeer and some Asura start investigating what is happening. With over-time updated objectives (I mean small “missions” that you have to do over-time during the update so it will be interesting) you find out what is happening. These objectives involve spying on Tengu, discovering some traces around Southsun cove (as it is just behind Dominion in SEA) and getting information from Quaggans. All the clues link up to some sea monsters that have awoken and are seeking prey. Finally in the last objective you talk to some Tengu authority and as you have so many clues he reveals the truth – Monsters from the sea are attacking Dominion of Winds and Tengu are losing in this war.

Update 2 “Dominion of Winds: Treasure of Tengu” In this update we have to find an ancient weapon that was used to defeat horrible monsters but it got lost. Player with Marjory Kasmeer and Asura using VOED trace the weapon in the area Tengu thought it would be and you find out that the weapon is kept inside a dungeon. In this dungeon you fight against NORMAL SEA PIRATES to retrieve the weapon and take it back to Tengu.

Update 3 “Dominion of WInds: Opening Gates” In this update we are finally let inside Dominion of WInds, we open a new zone with events, puzzles and World Boss. We defend Tengu in their homeland before they figure out how to use the weapon correctly. Here we also help Durmand Priory study Tengu as they have been mysterious for a long time.

Update4 “Dominion of Winds: Monster of the Depts” This update features an epic dungeon (as epic as MF dungeon) here we defeat a champion of DSD and this ends the story arc. After this arc we continue campaign against DSD with Tengu and Tengu become playable race.

I know this will probably never happen, anyway please evaluate :P Would you play or would you not?
