So you get ALL the impressions of the people, not only the ones here on the Forum.
I Imagine something like the Beta-surveys where you could vote everything from 1 to 6 and give a Comment.

Do every question for every single release you did and ask only if the player has played the content (so maybe at least 1 achievement or something similar).

Questions could be: (I use latest Release now as Example)

General:

Rate:
1. How did you like the Assault on Lionsarch Release in General?
If less points:
Comment: How would you think we could make it better?
2. How did you like the Gameplay of this specific Update?
If less points:
Comment: What would you like to see if we would do something similar a second
time?
3. Where the Rewards enough?
If less points:
Comment: What rewards would you like to see?

Comment:
4. Do you want to say something that we didnt cover?

Release Specific:
5. Did you like the Boss-Encounter?
Rate + Comment

and so on, there are plenty of Options for Questions you could ask the players and this may help you for the Second season because I think wherever you go and read feedback for the Season 1 people have different Opinions.
Some say its great, some say its standard and some say it was awful.

So please take your time to gather feedback and don’t rush a second Living Story Season, try to get everyone invested.

I’ve had the same thought myself. I’m worried that people who write on forums may not represent users in general. I wonder if they’ve thought in-game surveys would be too annoying. Personally, I would not have a problem with them. Heck, they could even make the survey one of the achievements for each living story update. You click the achievement in the achievement panel and the survey comes up, that way you could completely ignore it if you choose but there is an incentive to do it.

Okay, I’m waiting for it.
Not sure tho if the devs are prepared for 1-3 point votes

A few weeks ago someone mentioned a ‘official’ survey by Anet in the general discussion forum, even said they got some free gems for filling it out.

Seems to be to select individuals, don’t know what the criteria is to get a survey.
