All skills that use adrenaline will now use all that adrenaline, even on-miss. This is a great change from the perspective of properly balancing risk:reward and making skills that need to be dodged.

However, there was no mention of how this will interact with cleansing ire now. Do all warrior weapons now function like longbow and give them guaranteed 3 condis cleared/10s?

Does this seem OP in that, while adding some counterplay for people avoiding physical DPS, you are reducing some for people playing condis (who already have a terrible time against things like hambow)?

I imagine conditions will NOT be cleared if you miss. You are losing adrenaline, but I imagine it will not be the same as actually expending it on a skill use.

It was stated in the chat by Karl that Cleansing Ire only functions on a hit. If you miss your burst skill, you’re out of adrenaline (so no weapon swap for an instant try-again) and you don’t cleanse conditions (except maybe Blind).

I didn’t see the chat, so thanks for clarifying. It is good if this wasn’t an oversight. It also makes stronger burst skills more acceptable as they aren’t almost free anymore.

I also wonder if burst mastery will save you 1 bar on-miss.
