This was posted back in September…

I played an ele 1 month after launch till now…… most underpowered class. I also have characters with the other 7 class. My warrior is underequip and still can go up against lots of enemies SOLO. My mesmer can take down Minor Champions without breaking a sweat. My thief is for testing purpose and I hardly have any problems with lots of enemies. My ranger with is RANGED weapon and PET gets the job done most of the time without the need to run and hide. My engineer is a as squishy as my ele, but dies less times than my ele. My necro is like a powerhouse that can help weaken and take out many enemies all at once and I have not fully equip her yet. I am still leveling my guardian and it been very easy so far….

If someone think ele is OP in PvE i ask him to prove it….not difficult right?

Or maybe there are too many trolls :| (its easy to spot thieves players on this forum…..they tend to spend more time in ele section rather than in their)

Its not an horrible profession…it has some decent projectile absorb….
Yet the lack of dps is undenyable….

And i play a mesmer too…stacking 25 is ubereasy in most situations….as it happens with many classes….

I really wonder where are all those pve heroes….its quite rare to see one decent pve ele in game…..but on forum all are screaming L2P

But when you ask them to show you….they disappear….

Ele d/d is OP in sPVP seems like. I did a few rounds and it seems true the thing that makes them OP is the amount of healing skills… everything else we lack…health armor dps. guess thats fair lol.
though one mesmer in spvp will just destroy an ele with confusion.

Ele underpowered? LOL. Is this a real thread?

Its not even the healing its the fact we can charge into a mad fight 6v1 get our faces slapped, and run away. The mobility RTL gives to this class is the only reason its even viable I’d argue. (Compared to other classes that is >.>)

is PvE so hard to read?
Also other 3 words:

STAFF, Scepter, FOCUS

Daphoenix build in PvE is not a DPS build and for pve you often want/need DPS.

Well also PvP and www comments are quite “debatable” but seems ith time people will notice what last nerf did…..but in those area we don t need buffs….maybe a new elite but that s all.

Look simple truth is PvE needs to be left alone an d buffed for the minor sets. PvP including WvW we need nerfs but not RTL real nerfs to healing and condition cleansing while leaving mobility where it is at. Right now our class is sadly to say OP vs other players. We by no means need to be nerfed into the ground in PvE or have or glass cannon brother kittenupon because of bunkers. Middle ground must be found.

Then I sat in absolute stunned silence as several ele’s just obliterated multiple non ele professions at the same time. So many tools..just wow. THATS what all classes should have the ability to do. Ele’s can tank you, kill you, control you or if got to go to potty run off.

I dont want ele’s nerfed at all why cant ANET make all the classes strong?

Dude up your War’s WvW game you can drop an ele if you play smart they aren’t going to do a ton of DPS and vid you shared on the War forum was a pure Bunker ele vs bad players that’s it. You will probably not pull that off.

Watch all those 1vsX ele vids carefully and you will notice that the ele rarely ever downs + stomps anyone. Most of those vids just show bunker eles fighting forever without dying and killing anyone. So at the end the’ve achieved nothing.
