Elementalist have A LOT of finishers…blast finishers, which are IMO, generally the best kind. If you are really into combos like me, then get evasive arcana and keep arcane wave on your bar.

With Staff, you can do FOUR blast finishers very quickly in a field (evasive arcana x 2, arcane wave, pre-casted eruption). And with D/D, you can do five (evasive arcana x 2, arcane wave, earthquake, churning earth).

So with D/D that can be 15 stacks of might that you get VERY quickly…then you will probably get 4 more from sigil of battle and attuning to fire. So you can begin a predictable fight with 19 stacks of might…not to shabby. Of course, in PvP, things rarely go exactly as you plan, but you should still be able to get a respectable amount of might.

And with staff, you can do A LOT of healing with the staff 5 water field.
