I have an 80 ele, D/D, but as i play WvW with other classes i saw huge zergs made up almost completely of D/D ele’s

Those strange urban legends about a huge ele popularity….
I play in one of the strongest Eu server and i NEVER see more than 3 or 4 D/D eles in my Whole session…

I wonder if they are all in NA servers.
Playing one i perfectly know why.
They simply are inefficient in www….its a roaming class that can only kill thieves…and considering culling, and how useless it is in sieges i really can t see any problem….

-these ele’s don’t really kill you, but they also are nearly unkillable if they decide they want to escape-

So isn t it balanced?
Or balance for you is that they can t kill you but YOU CAN?
this seems to be what people wants…

But i have to say…..its not even true….
In a zerg there is no D/D ele and no RTL that can help.

I wonder yet what are those D/D ele zerg that cannot kill anyone and are awful at siege, doing in www ._.

i want to use my ele in WvW but after fighting them non stop for the last 5 hours i don’t want to stoop down to their level. (So i play my broken ranger lol)

So you never played an ele in www?
Maybe you should give it a try BEFORE complaining….also you should make a vid of what you can accomplish with such “OP” class…..

Well lets see some other things completely unfair:
Ranger pet range? they are also immortal and doens t give loot bags….

GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

I have an 80 ele, D/D, but as i play WvW with other classes i saw huge zergs made up almost completely of D/D ele’s-these ele’s don’t really kill you, but they also are nearly unkillable if they decide they want to escape- and so I’m calling for a nerf on cooldowns of defensive/escape skills. that’s it. keep the functionality the same but something has to be done with all the boon juggling and blink and all that. On my necro if I corrupt boon an ele with like 6 boons on, 2 seconds later he has 4, and 2 seconds after that it’s back to 6 it’s rediculous.

Last I checked the objective in WvW isn’t to go and kill a group of Eles no matter what. If they escape so what? You take the keep/camp you want. It’s not a 5vs5 instanced battle, it’s open world others can escape too (Thieves) what about them?

And no, cooldowns are already ridiculously high, if anything, they need to reduce them, not increase them. Increased cooldowns will make the already subpar Eles in dungeons even worse, so it’s a big fat no.

I hope Arenanet doesn’t nerf Eles due to WvW, it’s a ridiculous reason, if they want a “nerf” there, make skills separate, there, all problems solved. Nerfing Elementalists in PVE isn’t fair, the prof needs buffs, not nerfs. Yes even the “god-like” D/D needs buffs but some people just don’t get it.

there is infact a reason why depsite some peple says out of PvP D/D ele are really rare….

In PvE expecially i ve been the only i ever seen for months……but recently with the growth in popularity i saw the enormous amount of 3 in 1 month \._./ (i play a lot….and do lot of fractals/dungeons also).

And note i play on SFR not on a low pop server….
