Ele Patch Notes
People have been “quoting” the devs for the last few weeks saying “Eles downed state was admitted by the devs to need fixed” AND “Even the Devs say dagger/dagger needs a buff” the devs said they feel d/d is not where they wanted it, so are you so surprised that D/D is what received changes!?
Happy with the changes, but the RTL stealth nerf (haven’t tested it yet) will completely destroy this for me

Next urgent fix is RTL…. very very urgent. Critical, I would say.
OMG I could not be happier with the changes. This literraly just made my day and I wasn’t going to be able to play tonight but Im actually changing my plans now just so I can play GW2 tonight. Thank you AN for your response on the eles….especially the downed state!!!
downed state is much worse now than it was before, 20 seconds cooldown on vapor form just lol, how stupid is that? only noobs were crying about ele downed state

Worse than before?!? Newsflash, vapor form ALREADY had a 20 second cooldown but now we can use it to interrupt an immediate stomp. And more than noobs were crying about the Ele downed state, it was one of the worst in the game. Anet agrees with these “noobs,” which is why it got buffed.
If you think the downed state got nerfed here, you’re playing the wrong game…

They broke Magnetic Grasp. You sit in mid-air for several seconds like RTL.
It’s always done that. If you haven’t encountered it before, you were very lucky.

Downed state mist form was fine before, you could mist multiple times if needed. As #2 it will see a lot more use though. The nicest thing is if a thief sets up refuge to stomp stealthed then you can move outside that area where your allies might be able to interrupt.

“Air Pocket: This skill no longer allows players to shadowstep out of water.”
This was literally all I ever used this skill for. To skip one route of the WvW jumping puizzle. I seriously do not see an other proper use for this skill outside of that. So yay for this utility skill losing its only utility I guess.
This skill can be used to jump over the bay in WvW and combine wit the teleport exploit, you can get into the bay inner gate without attacking any gate.
Downed stats is better, but its just gonna make us suffer more when we are downed, only difference is that now, I will have to use “Stand your ground” to kill them with my guardian.
I still think that ele belong in WvW not in spvp.
