I’ve been playing the Ele since i bought this game, about 2 months strait. I love it, hands down its a fun class. I use all the weapon combo’s, from staff for keep/tower fights, to scepter/focus/dagger for open field, to dagger/dagger. I would have to agree with several of the other poster’s that the elementilist dmg is lacking a bit compared to other classes. I flip through all 4 attun’s in a fight, i run a semi glass cannon build.

the aoe 5 target nerf hurt us the most imo, really took the fight out of keep defense for ele’s. In open field fights, i have trouble, like a lot of ele’s, in finishing off players. We are a cloth casting class, and have all the weakness that implies, but are missing the dmg that allows that to be off set. imo its about 10-15% dmg to low to be equal with most of the classes i’ve been fighting.

What makes me happy is that I really enjoy playing my ele right now and know it’s only going to get better from here.

I’m not going to get into where the class should be powerwise, but as far as general gameplay it’s one of the most rewarding characters I’ve played in an MMO funwise.

You keep re-posting this video over and over, however it is NOT Viable at all. If you compare Beta version versus your new one, he does not have to put all his skills on 45 second cooldowns to do it. You do.

If you want to be taken seriously, play a few maps with that spec, do not EDIT out all your dieing and show us how Viable it is. The point is, you cannot. And showing us damage versus a Practice Dummy of how much damage you can do metaphorically, is not proof.

Please don’t pointlessly necro threads ><There are some more viable varients of that build, and they’re pretty good, but no need to post them all over the place, especially dead threads. (That being said, I do appreciate that we have a burst build again, so thank you. Hopefully it won’t result in more nerfs.)
