Elementalist S/F Build Help
Until that, I’ll play GW2.
I run a condition spec S/F setup. I am having much better time with this ! Most 1v1 battles I will win, even had some 1v2 as well. It will take some time to get used too, but Iove it. Much more defense here then using other weapon sets.
You have good control, more a single target then anything.
I see in your build you have a mix of things. In my humble opinion, you have no need for crit chance or crit damage. Try to build up your condition damage. You don’t need so much toughness, but that’s me. I went for condition, power, vitality, and toughness.
I have all carrion weapons and trinkets. For armor I have 2 of carrion, rest are soldier with undead runes. For trinket slot I use chrysocolla. Food is super veggie pizza and condition damage. On weapons I use either sigil of battle or blood. Other weapon is a condition duration sigil.
I will try and post a buildcraft link. Just need get on main computer.
Okay, here is my build….http://gw2buildcraft.com/calculator/elementalist/?1.3|b.1h.h1i.d.1h.hf|0.0.0.0.0.0|1c.719.1c.719.1h.719.1c.719.1h.719.1c.719|1h.62.1h.62.1h.62.1h.62.1h.62.8c.62|0.0.k3a.k35.u57b|31.e|1m.1v.1u.26.29|e
Now if you want a bit more toughness, you can add back in the soldier armor and or put in 1 or 2 soldier rings.
Just use this as a starting point. Add in or take out traits or utilities to suit your play style.
Now, the big kicker is those that have a lot of condition removal !, it can make for along fight. Burst/stealth/condition spec thieves are a pain no matter what spec you run, as are Mesmers.
I have played a lot of specs. D/D, S/D, burst, survival, combination of all etc……but with this I have been able to win more 1 v 1’s then with any of the others.
Hope this helps.
