My elementalist is almost level 80, and I LOVE playing it.
The thing is that I need to decide upon a build.. But I want to be able to play at least Staff s/d and d/d with the same armour/rune set, in PVE and WvW.

Do you have any suggestion? Should I take Assassin+Scholar or Berserker+Strenght?

Berserker regardless of what rune type you use, but strength is the wiser option for ele.

But do take note of hoelbrak runes. -20% condi + (-40% from food) = -60% condi + condi cleansing = loads of fun

IMO, pack runes are just as strong as strength, and much cheaper, use them
