I am playing the standard zerker 6/4/2/2 staff build.

I am having trouble in two dungeons: Crucible of Eternity and Sorrow’s Embrace.
My trouble is in two forms:
1) My HP is around 12k. Burns in both these dungeons chew huge portions of my life away and seem inevitable. Doesn’t seem group has enough cleanses to keep condi perma off me. So when the groups force us to stack— I can’t seem to stay alive, let alone above 90% for the damage modifier.
2) In Crucible of Eternity I constantly have alpha aggro. I can dodge his obvious large attack, but since he is aggroed on me — that plus constant burn damage leaves me dead.

My experience is pretty consistent when I run these dungeons on my elly. I end up resorting to my warrior and guardian who almost never have direct aggro, can deal with residual condis by larger health pool or cleanses. Further, with guardian I can cycle aegis.

If anyone has had the same experience I would love some tips on how I can survive while stacked in these dungeons.

Also, why do I have aggro in the Alpha fight? I thought toughness had something to with it… however I’m sure the guardians in the group have more toughness then I do.

Any help with these matters are appreciated. Thanks!

Ele will always have agro in COE, there was a recent post about it that may be worth looking into. As was said there, consider Focus, you have condi clear on earth4 as well as obsidian flesh, then swirling winds… focus is good.

Generally speaking you should be either able to avoid the damage with proper dodging, or killing things faster than the conditions take you down. Alpha sometimes gets me with his burning if we’re really lacking DPS and I screw up a bit (generally path1 eating a tooth or two), and in SEp3 the first boss bleeds me to death at times if we’re slow.

On Tezza, just dont attack her too much on thr pulling phase. Then be always at melee range. That also goes for engi.

Other than that, zerker eles depnds a lot on the party so…
Ah! Stealing life food. Always use that.

Learning English, any correction is very welcome.

1. Are you soloing that dungeon boss?
2. Is your group DPS really that bad?

Answer to question 1: swap into a more sustained build. Take vigor for more dodge. Take glyph of elemental in earth to draw aggro. You may want to use D/F. Learn how to dodge the hand raise burning and walk out from dragon tooth by baiting it on max range.

Answer to question 2: install the esp thingy. If your group DPS is less than 15k, may as well treat it as solo scenario. If your group DPS is between 16-20k, consider learning the proper burst rotation and notice other people not to cc the boss. Start with earth 2 in staff, swapping to air, cast glyph of storm, swap to fire, lava font, drop ice bow, #5-4-3, meteor shower, then lava font and auto attacking in fire.,

As much as I feel all warm and fluffy using D/F (as my safety cushion 99% of time), I’d like to take risk and do not want to endorse one single build for everything.
