I don’t get how I’m supposed to use this weapon at all. It’s literally impossible to hit anyone with dragon’s tooth, and none of the auto attacks do damage (water’s has the highest dps!). seems like the only things that do damage are lighting flash, point blank phoenix, and a preloaded hurl

20% extra damage in water is a good trait with water auto too. I’ve seen people use focus offhand to land hits. Earth signet is good too. This is a very tough playstyle that requires running on the spot and hitting from behind

scepter/x require you to do combo-attacks alot I’d say but there are more easy options aswell. Tried “Fresh Air” yet? simple go from air into x wait until you crit back into air and so on.

Scepter is built entirely around spike damage. Air attune + Lightning 2 is where the bulk of on-demand damage comes from, combined with Fresh Air it’s the closest to what one could call “sustained dps”.
You’ll either be hitting like a truck or doing zero damage depending on how terrible the enemy is and how well you position yourself & your attacks.

Dragon’s Tooth & Phoenix are often used as blast finishers for might-stacking on fire field, combined with Evasive Arcana dodge (earth) + Arcane Wave you can build a lot of might quickly. Hitting enemies is a bonus.

If you’re having too much trouble with scepter then I highly recommend switching to staff, it actually has a decent nuke and the highest AoE damage in the game…it just comes at the cost of auto-losing all 1v1’s and dying the moment the enemy notices you.

Ele is currently balanced around being a vastly better player than your opponent, it’s the only way you’re going to win. Good luck.
