Guild Wars 2

So im just looking for a general build for Ele, like one that is used more often than others.

Im thinking of doing more of a D/D build but i just dont know what items to build and traits to take, and skills to use. Ill probably end up changing what i use a little anyways but idk where to start and i just need a starting point to learn how i play best.

my best advice is to work your way down from full kitten zerk staff ele and if you can survive with positioning/spamming lava font 1,200 units away on point you need not shy away from a 30-x-x-x-10 build.

but if you are getting targetted and one shotted by enemy thief/warrior/mesmer/guardian/ranger/necro/engy/ele you’ll have to trait and gear defensively.
