Put it ANYWHERE in the Air Tree short of being a Major Grandmaster Trait. But locking it so deep into the Arcane tree makes it very difficult for glass Ele builds to gain access to it.

Glass ele will have to depend on guardians to survive. Great change promoting teamwork. /sarcasm

I think it’s about time I shelf my ele.

If that ever gets implemented, I will have a very long debate on which of my 3 air traits to discard.

Yes that was way back in Beta Weekend 01 and 02, we’ve never recovered from the retaliation.

It should replace Zephyr’s Speed as Air’s 5 point Minor … afterall, ANet gave this exact same ability to Mesmer’s and Guardian’s as a 5 point Minor.

Why exatly? Mesmer’s and Guardians trigger any time. Its the exact same trait and its 5 point minor on both classes.

Stop making such logical suggestions! This wouldn’t nerf eles! Are you ludicrous! We need to stop the d/d and s/d bunkers that have been running amok for 6 straight months now!

Should ele, squishier than mesmers/guardians and lacking their survivability mechanisms have a base survivability trait on-par with them? Heck no! Should they have more reasonable sustained damage to make up for it? Heck no!

Apparently, “Jack of all trades” means terrible at everything, as opposed to above-average (but not great) at everything.

Because apparently, ArenaNet feels it’s too powerful on eles atm. They don’t like it when we combine it with Elemental Attunement already. With the ‘air only’ limitation, it would work best for Fresh Air eles and decent for anyone else.

Just trying to compromise here.

Regardless of what politicians tell you … compromise is not always a good thing. We can’t compromise on this … ANet is just wrong.

There’s too many good air traits already. One of them giving excellent endurance regen with S/D (Channelling arc lightning with the 100% endurance regen trait is quire potent PvE wise and solid in PvP).

Anet should probably change Vigorous Scepter to work with Dagger mainhand, it would open doors for the viability of x/x/30/x/10 builds that Anet seems to want to push, freeing an ele from having to acquire precision/fury uptime for defensive builds. Or just not move Renewing Stamina at all.
