New to Ele, Support/DPS build for Dungeons?

Elementalist have decent healing and decent dps (all else we have is well below average)
So to work to our strenghts I have berserker armor with ruby orbs and clerics/apothecary trinkets for healing power and support with boons and lots of small heals and debuffs to enemies that come natural with the class.
Make sure to use your blast finishers in your firefields while near your opponnent to give your ally melee classes more dps.
S/D is king in pve, D/D is easier and Staff and focus are situational.
I use a build based around air, water and arcana with air as its main focus. You can pick all of the damage boost traits that water and air provide but going a bit more healing/condi removal in the water traits might be of greater use if you’re going support.
I use 20-0-0-20-30…
…the 0-0-0-20-30 part of it, is not optional, in-my-humble-opinion
I like 20 in fire for the shorter cooldowns and 10% more damage, I mostly use fire for damage.
A quick switch to water, and a dodge roll, will do some nice healing when it’s needed.
Glyph of storms in earth attunement will create a nice aoe blind for harder pulls.
If you want to heal more use clerics, if you want more dps use zerkers, both work just fine, just play to your strengths.
A full zerker D/D build spamming Vapor Blade Build has always intrigued me, but I’ve never been able to make it work… so I just stick to using staves.
Playing the engineer “as intended” is simply not viable.
Thanks for your answer!
Regarding traits, I was thinking something more like 0/10/0/30/30, not something more focused on air, but according to your build I should go something like 0/30/0/30/10, right?
I know that water is kind of a must-have for support, but neither Air nor Arcana seems that cool for support, so I guess depending on which bonuses I want is the trait line I should choose.
I’ll keep trinkering with it, thanks.
