So now Elementalists can support really well. That’s cool and all, but how did this patch improve any of the existing issues with the Ele? Yes, the buffs for the conjures are nice, but until Anet buffs our base health/armor (surivivability), I don’t see anyone straying away from lightning flash, mistform, etc.

I still maintain the point that our we are forced into utilities to simply survive, not bunker or tank, just to last in a fight, and until Anet changes that, these conjure buffs won’t change anything.

If by “didn’t change anything” you mean “a ton of Fire Attunement traits are still worthless” then you’d be correct.

Ice bow is now OP, but makes “ranged nuker” a possibility. Drop ice bow at team-mates feet and both nuke point = everyone is dead or the point is neuted. One ice storm can kill a medium golem if you are zerker. By sharing the bow tithe zerker team-mate this will do insane damage.

Ele is now the most mobile staff user thanks to burning retreat + one with air (at least close to staff mesmer)

Lava axe gives any weapon set excellent mobility, and is even better than FGS for getting away in WvW.
