Hey, I just thought this forum needs this kind of topic too. So you can post your PvE builds. Anyways I always loved to use staff more than any other weaponset on ele, so here is my build (:

I’m using;

Staff -
30 arcane – elemental attunement, renewing stam, evasive arcane
20 water – cleansing wave, vital striking
10 air – quick glyphs
10 fire – 10% more fire damage

I’ve been going back and forth pulling the 20 water into fire for more damage, but it is a drop in survivability (dual regen + heal on water is nice)

Build is mostly about using evasive arcana to blast finisher lava font (might stacks) and water fields (heals). I can keep the melee + my self at 25 might stacks fairly easily if I use a sigil of energy (50% endurance on attunement swap)

For utility I have;
Arcane wave (more blast finishing)
Glyph of storms (earth = 10 seconds pulsing blind)
cleansing fire (mainly to save my self during knockdown)

Elite is of course the elementals, as the others all suck

This has served me well in explorables. I deal around 3-4k dps in fire, and provide a lot of support and control.

High surviability with a punch for S/D

Incredibly powerful S/D build that will get you killed very easily if you aren’t great at avoiding damage. Probably ONLY good in non-dungeon pve.

Just wondering what you guys are stacking stat wise. I’m starting to craft the tailoring gear and i honestly go to a new insignia everytime i go to craft

Im stacking power/condition damage. Dont have “end-game gear” yet, but it just seems to work just fine with my build (see above)

I am level 80 2/3 thorugh getting end game gear.
My recommendation is to stack offensively as possible (Power, Precision, Crit Dmg) on every single item.
30 in 1 or both of fire/air
but then make all three utility skills defensive: I choose Mist form, Arcane shield, Cleansing fire.
The uitlity skills should more than compensate for the total lack of health and toughness, and you would probably need to learn to equip and use them anyway to survive in dungeons. I think I am better off going full glass cannon spec..
