PvP Rabid Burn build
….. And Elementalist.
d/d + burn is to much. We know it. From passive only two out of 15 isn´t so much. The problem is nerfing passive will nerf a lot of non meta builds to near ground and will hit mostly casual/not perfect players. While the glyphs are powerful are they realy useful in PvP against good players and worth instead of cantrips? I play S/F condi oriented and in tough fights its hard to land most hits from AE attacks with delay. Also the elemental power glyph didn´t pay off with 5s ICD. Arcane shield plays better for me.
Your build is heavy burn, but i am not shure about its usability.
But you propably got me to try the glyphs again. Its long ago and i got better in playing.
One thing is shure. Such a build will squish less experienced players … So going into random group PvP this migh work hellish :-).

Another build that is completely unpractical in PvP. One CC without LF, MF, ect away from being 2 shot. Glass builds without mobility do not work on the low hit point low armor class of the game.
Mathematically that build is a mess.
With fury, you have a 22% chance of a 1 second 1x burn from arcane precision.
With fury, you have a 20% chance of a 3 second 1x burn from burning precision.
You have a 25% chance of a 5 second 2x burn from GoEP.
So with all that (Fury and GoEP) there is a 53% per hit of a burn stack per hit.
FireStorm lasts 10 seconds, pulses every second, and applies 1 burn per stack for 3 seconds.
So, if you could somehow get a person to stand in the obvious circle of raining fire for the entire duration they would have 10×3s of Burning + |5.3×1.33s of Burning| = 17 seconds of burning damage on average over 11 to 15 seconds.
Burning Damage: (0.155 * 1,500) + 131.5 = 364
364 damage * 17 = 6,188 damage over an average of 13 seconds = 476 dps
Zerker Meteor swarm does more damage than that without completely gutting your ability to clear conditions, mobility, and mist form escapes.
Not impressed.
80 Necromancer (IRNY), 80 Guardian (IRNY)
GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.

What is clear it has strong weaknesses. Mesmer will just squish it without much chance to fight back. I think survival ranger will also crush it. An a warrior will pop berserkers stance an knockdown kill …. So while it might be fun sometimes its more then squishy.
Very simple option that will push the build is use air sigil instead of firestorm. You have speed + stunbreaking blind.

Have fun
I wasn’t looking for critics or what ever, just trying to share a fun build that has been working out extremely well for me and a few friends I shared it with in game.
Also, the build is just a baseline. Depending on your playstyle you could always adjust it to suit you better.

Yes its a fun build. If it works for you its fine. I just think no half decent player will stand in your firestorm or cross the ring without dodge or burn defences ready. When a player doesn´t constantly move i know he is dead regardless of my build. And i am and average player.

It’s a lot better to use Firestorm on people trying to rez, especially on courtyard… And you’re right, half decent players will get off the cap point for 10s giving me a free cap while the other players sit in it and soak up 20 stacks of burn, either way it’s a win-win.

You’ll get a “free cap” only to explode in the next few seconds because of how you blew all your utilities on a single gambit :L
It’s funny to see it happen, but any half-decent player wont just stand there.
