With the new patch coming I might end up taking zero points in arcana, havnt decided yet.

I posted the might-stacking rotations for S/F + LH in a previous thread about a week ago. Look that one up if you like. I’ll re-post a quick summary here.
Dragon’s tooth > flamewall > phoenix > arcane wave > magnetic wave > comet > LH AA
If you have Persisting Flames, that’s 18 might in 10 secs. if you don’t, that’s 15 might in 10 secs (or if you run Embers, it’s still 18 might, but flamewall will expire before the first blast from the AA chain hits).
With the current 16 sec Atune CD and the “after-swap” internal atune CD, S/F is very annoying to use (assuming you put 0 or 10 in arcana. no point putting in more in PvE). This is because, for each might-stackign rotation, you’re left in Earth for just over 1 sec thinking “wtf? I can’t do anything. I’m so bored. I wish I could just swap to earth then water all instantly.” You also have to leave water half-way through your LH’s life-span to start the CD on water, so you can use Comet again in your next might-stacking rotation.
Post-update though, when they shorten the base CD of both atunements and “after-swap,” S/F will work a LOT better. I’m totally looking forward to this update for exactly this reason in PvE.

rock solid combined with ether renwal is great. the defensive skills from focus (earth 4,5, air 4) make it a lot easier staying alive with 2 arcanes compared to s/d. you will probably drop pretty fast to a well organised team anyways but for me playing soloq at the bottom of the leaderboard it has worked very well so far.
