Hello can someone explain me why Obsidian Focus (I Earth) and Zephyr Focus (II Air) are elementalist traits ? Last time i checked, only Meteor Shower and the #5 Dagger OH Earth skills were channeling spells. Am i right ? Wrong ? What do you think about this ?

I tend to not use any of the channel traits mentioned because I run staff so there aren’t any that are terribly meaningful in length. But Gaung is correct anything with a bat should function as a channel.

Per your retort, the best channel might be air scepter auto attack. So if you intended to roll with that obi would be useful.

And they don’t work with the seemingly channel-like Frost Bow skills 2, 4 and 5.

The most practical use is with dagger mainhand since Drake’s Breath and Cone of Cold.

The strange thing is Stone Shards works with Obsidian Focus but not Zephyr’s Focus.

On the other hand, Zephyr’s Focus is buggy to the benefit to Cone of Cold: It lasts for 9 seconds even regardless of how long you channel it for and even after you finish channeling the skill it will stay unlike the other channels where it will end abrupted on cancel/interrupt/channel finishes.

That sounds like the kind of things we could know if we had an elementalist bug thread

That look like a disaster said like that, but tbh i was thinking that it would be not in our favor !

But still, something must be done to clarify what is a channeled skill for an elementalist ! It’s not as obvious as it look, just look at the first answer, durp !

It’s strange how staff lack of that kind of spell also.
