Underwater elementalists
At least we have one, now, even whirlpool (tornado) wasn’t available for awhile. We should be able to summon a water elemental underwater (regardless of attunement).
Not really a bug, though. More of a suggestion.

Why are there so many oversights with the Elementalist? I put my elementalist on hold as soon as I realized that the class was severely lacking in bug fixes and missing options such as the fall damage trait. This is a major issue. I hope they realize the Elementalist needs to be taken back to the drawing board.
Aye its not exactly a bug, but I wouldn’t call it a suggestion either… this is an oversight.. :\ And yes, summoning elementals under water would make perfect sense..

Fall damage is extremely helpful to complete certain content and only one class does not have access to this mechanic. You can argue “balance” all you want but what it comes down to is that fall damage reduction is only available from traits -all other mechanics in the game including stealth can be accessed by any class through other means such as runes. Our issue is that elementalists are the only class lacking this option: the class is riddled with oversights.
And yet, it still has more options than any other class.
Underwater combat is just terrible with the Elementalist no matter how you slice it.
Fiery greatsword underwater.
I’d make a Fiery Greatsword. Well, call it Blade of Currents. Uses water-themed copies of the FG abilities.
