Why that whining about the Elementalist?
Can someone post the high dmging staff autoattack screenshot that is from actual PvP? No, I don´t mean WvW, I mean PvP, where everybody has the same lvl and same quality Equip.

Berserker+Scholar+of Force+30/30/0/10/0 = 2304 Power, 58 crit damage, 1.54 multiplier. Total crit on damage with Staff Fireball (0.85 coeff) on glasscannon clothie:
- 3060-3453
- If stunned or below 25% health: 3671-4143
- If stunned and below 25% health: 4406-4972
- Every might stack adds ~1.5% damage
- Every vulnerability stack adds 1% damage.
- Plate glass cannon takes ~16% less damage
- Clothie using Soldier’s Amulet+Jewel takes ~33% less damage.
- Another ~4.3% damage that I forgot to include, if using the trait in the air tree that boosts crit damage after using arcane skills.
Oh, and you can stack crit damage higher in WvW than you can with the limited armor choices in sPvP.

Nevermind, try to compare these results with any other class with similar build/Equipment. And take the attack speed into consideration too, please

Let’s not forget Anet’s OWN WORDS when describing the Elementalist:
“Elementalists are multi-faceted spellcasters that channel elemental forces, making fire, air, earth, and water do their bidding. What they lack in physical toughness, they make up in versatility and the ability to inflict massive damage in a single attack.”

That statement hints at me to start using a crit build!
If elementalist (frailmentalist) isn’t a bad class that isn’t broken, then why is this the only class specific forum always with such complaints and uproars?
Then you haven’t read the other profession’s forums much; Mesmers complain about being the weakest profession in PvE, Rangers complain about their uselessness outside of solo PvE, Guardians complain about the lack of a true ranged weapon, Warriors complain about losing every 1v1 and so forth. Players of every profession claim that the bugs their professions suffers from are the most most urgent and bug fixes for other professions can wait.
The Elementalist needs improvements in some areas like downed skills, Dagger MH and obviously bug fixes but it isn’t in such a bad shape as some people are clamming.
Elementalist is by far the funniest class to play. Problem is was that people wanted a burst / critical damage DPS caster class in GW2. None of the 3 caster classes fit that role. So the dissapointed fan vent on the elementalist class because it would typically fill that role. For WvW to be balanced there will never be a DPS caster class. Unless Arena splits the skills strength based on the the game types PvE, PvP & WvW.
Elementalist are fine the way they, except they need a Descent Elite skill for PvP.
And for Burn to stack like bleeds during PvE dynamic events. With 15 people in the area and it only takes 1 elem to keep burn going constantly. Gives you no incentive to place your combo field for the finishers if that damage won’t tick anyways.
There’s only a couple of things i would want:
a. Give us more hp. 1-2k will suffice.
b. Dont allow 1 skill to kill us (or any class for that matter)
Lvl 80 exotic set and i get hit by a backstab from thief for 14k when i only got 13k hp wtf
