What is your opinion? I don’t think it would be overly powerful and it would make d/d that much better to play in general, right now it will be never be chosen over renewing stamina and it’s a shame because it’s a very good trait to move around the map quickly.

They did say that they were thinking of making something baseline for daggers, but weren’t sure what. Because they can’t make up their mind, they will probably just do nothing. Either that, or they will give it +10% move speed, which they think is very powerful….

At this point I’d take anything, ofc I still hope for a baseline windborne but I can settle for anything now and really can’t imagine what else could be : increased dmg when using daggers? increased condi dmg?…sounds all good to me

It’s not likely to happen to become baseline. As I’ve explained with people wanting Fast Hands baseline, there’s no such thing as class-specific passives. Classes have no intuitive design for passive benefits that aren’t tied to traits or directly to the weapons. Everything that went baseline required no introduction in that they were just buffing abilities to be less trait dependent. Bonus speed on a weapon set just simply isn’t intuitive.

Not trying to be a pain, but it just isn’t likely in this way.

I think it should be like this or some trait, cause after patch without elemental attunement swiftness uptime will be very low unless you take zephyr boon, what locks you in air traitline and nullify the build diversity (personally i’d like to go for fire traitline). Imo it is biggest nerf from ele attunement – no swiftness, what means kite to death.

They should at least give it in adept arcana traitline, I would take it instead of renewing stamina cause i’ll have vigor from cantrips.

Have to agree with ronpierce, making a specific weapon set grant a speed boost by default would not make much sense compared to the other traits that went base line. For example blasting staff being made baseline won’t be out of place because the aoe radii could have always been the increased amounts, it is only affecting the skills. With windborn daggers it affects how you move which should not be affected by base line changes for just one weapon set, especially when the standard pre buffed speed is the same for all classes.

Just make RtL a 15 or 20s CD again (with no penalty) and everyone who uses /D will be happy.
