This is out if you guys didn’t know. There is a thread rolling on the Guardian forums so I figured we start one up here. I love new stat combo’s and theorycrafting.
If you have a legendary you can select this new combo fyi.
Power main stat
Precision/Healing secondary stat.
No toughness on it kind of makes me feel like it’s a better magi’s. I can see throwing it on my Guardian for more deeps in a healway but not sure about Ele. My initial thought is earth magic investors could get some use out of it mixing it with other gear, but that’s all I can think of right now.
Healing power investment goes better with tanking not dps. This might put out similar dps numbers as celestial.
As you say, healing power only works well in conjunction with toughness and solid condi cleanse.
I can’t see this combination being useful in any self-centered ele build. Not even in dungeon parties since when building defense, healing power won’t prevent you from getting oneshot in any way.
The only really useful new combinations I could think of would be cavalier’s, cleric’s and knight’s with power mainstat.

I agree. With the upcoming nerf to crit damage I believe this stat combo will be much more useful for staff eles in guild zergs. Simply because they can keep most of their dps but now when they cast healing rain or geyeser its not just to blast it will actual heal their guild mates. So as a back line guild zerg staff ele this I believe is a very useful stat combo but I could be mistaken.

Tested 400, 700, 1150 Healing power on classic DnD.
Found 650 to 800 to be a nice sweet spot.

So I suppose all the healing from Soothing Mist, Healing Ripple, Geyser, Healing Rain, Elemental Attunement & Evasive Arcana is completely useless?
Staff eles probably shouldn’t main in this, but I can see having a few pieces of this working quite well.
