Agreed, crate and X are all you’ll really need. Use the points and buy other utilities or turn it into items or gold in the mystic forge.

the grenth elite where you permanently chill/poison stuff near you is pretty kitten good for wvwvw. definitely better than elixir x. the norn leopard is probably the best choice for wvwvw if you’re norn. guaranteed escapes every time.

After you get Supply Crate, use those pts to unlock all of your utilities.
I don’t think I’ve ever used Elixir X or Mortar other than goofing off with them for 5 mins when I first unlocked them. I have used asuran golem elites a couple times in open world so I’m sure Hounds would work alright too.

I actually been using snow leopard recently and enjoying it more than crate. I can get away if my group wipes and keep my stacks :]
